CAST BASALT : Cast basalt products are continuously produced in the shaft melt furnaces at 1280°C and then at a temperature of 1200°C the melt is founded and shaped in metal or sand moulds.
The melt is founded either by means of static or centrifuge-like technique into revolving moulds(ingot moulds). After crystallization(getting stiff) the casts are being quickly removed out of moulds and put to deposit into running cooling furnaces, where they are passing through until they cool down (18-21) hours.
Then the cast basalt have high of abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance. The cast basalt products are mainly applied to the hydraulic transportation pipe line(sand, coal ash, fine slag slurry, tar sand slurry, lime, acid, alkarine material), inclined plane for storing raw material storage tank, cokes, ore, lime,cement, coal, cyclones, separators where expected deep abrasion as lining material.

Corrosion Resistance
It has good resistance against Acid, Alkaline and Acid medium. It is advantageous in facilities where need abrasion resistance and Corrosion resistance at the same time. Low cost and High quality of cast basalt products enable us to apply as anti-acid bricks below temp. 500°C. (except hydrofluoric acid).

- Cast basalt has non-absorption feature, It can prevent the frozen broken by absorb the water.
Sliding Characteristics
The grinded and using cast basalt lined pipes and chutes have been measured the coefficient of friction is 0.021 it is smaller 20~30% than common steel plate. Especially in the rainy season, you do not need to add extra machine like vibrator or men-power in order to remove the raw material with water on the wall of facility.
Not only good sliding uses to carry for raw material, but also less the resistance of saved facility, and improving carrying/discharging ability. The more you use the cast basalt, the better sliding the surface.

Far-infrared Emission
The raw material of cast basalt is natural stone, after melting and casting the basalt, it emits the far infrared max. 0.974. this data have been reported by Korea standardization science reserach center.
Take advantage of the high far-infrered emission, it can be applied to filed of management of health like the wall of sauna, food storage system. Besides these applications, cast basalt with high infrared emission can be applied to the field of almost every hygienic application.
High Temperature Resistance
Eucor(AZS 33%) products are mainly used in the facilities where need high temperature resistance & high abrasion resistance like skid rail on heating furnace, floor and wall of glass melting furnace and burner tile etc.
